Nepotism

         Nepotism Is A Crime

Indroduction :-
Now_a_days we are a part of very sophisticated society. We are not even aware of some cryptic evils which are wrapped under the canopy of soothing atmosphere. Are you aware of the true meaning of Nepotism? Probably Not! In my opinion 'Nepotism is the most underrated topic to be discussed rather it is ignored most of the time. But at the same time, it is hottest issues' in this modern era. It has disasterous affects on human mind and soul ' as well as this society. Nepotism refers to favouritism but it is very specific in its approach. Before we head towards its meaning we must have knowledge about the origin of this word.
It has a''Latin' roots. It was originated from the Latin word Nepos which means
Nephew.

Meaning of Nepotism :-
Nepotism is related to favouritism at any work place.
In urdu, it is called Aqarba parwari and in Hindi it is called  bahee_bahteejavaad.
Nepotism:-
Basically, this term is associated with workplace, business and employment etc
In a brief connotations, it is defined as practicing power in the favour of your relatives and family,to make them have better place in the business etc.
There are plenty of examples which highlights this covert practice. OKI! Let's suppose that a CEO of the company recruite his underqualied brother with high income packages while rejecting the man with high qualification and exceptional skills. It HURTS. DOESN'T IT? If you have applied for any job 'and you come to know that, you are replaced by the person who is less qualified and does not even possess any remarkable skill. Under the influence of Nepotism, talent and skills go wasted.
Nepotism vs cronyism:-
Often, people misunderstand this two words. There is bit difference between these two terms but they are highly specific in their approach. Nepotism is certain to the a family member or relative. The higher class or elite class people enforce power for the recruitment of their kith and kin.
Cronyism is particularly for friend or any associate. We can say that it speaks of partiality regarding any person. It is a bit different concept than Nepotism as in cronyism people exercise power for the employment of their friend, somebody whom they like and somebody who can work for their interests.
Nepotist:-
Without any further delay, we should head towards our topic which is Nepotism. Now you might be wondering that what is Nepotist or how this word is associated with nepotism.
Primarily,Nepotists are the people who exercise their authority for the promising career and recruitment of their family and relative. Would it be wrong to categorize them as culprits? No! I Believe that it is the most euthentic substitute of this word Nepotist. I think Nepotist is a rascal and a silent killer. As he kills ambitious and dreams of lots of people.
Reasons behind Nepotism:-
There can be several reasons behind Nepotism:-
  • To exploit one's power and authority.
  • To exert pressure on the lower ranked class.
  • To secure the future of their generations .
  • To provide the lavishing lifestyle to their dynasties .
  • To show off their wealth and brag their stardom.
They tend to work with people like relatives and family member, with whom they feel comfortable to work.
Is Nepotism legal?:-
Now the question arises is it legal? There are lots of brutal acts, which take place on daily basis but we can't declare them legal or illegal. Same like nepotism holds great sense of complexity in its approach. We can't say it is illegal but it is immoral indeed.
It frustrates and annoy people. They Start hating themselves and their life by generating a conclusion that they can't do anything in life. They can never achieve heights of glory. They feel like losers and they remain stick to this assumed fact that they can't achieve anything in life. They feel like that they can never enjoy peaceful life and respectable status in this society.
Examples of Nepotism:-
No doubt, that we all are part of nepotic society. They are plenty of examples of this biased act. Our entertainment industry is full of Nepo kids.Their father utilize their power, money and authority to make a better position of their kids.
It is said that renowned actor Sushat Singh Rajput had committed suicide because he was a victim of Nepotism.
Nepotism Is a Crime:-
In my opinion, nepotism is a crime as it is wrapped sort of evil. You would never come to know that how smoothly it takes place and how devastating it can be. It destroys the lives of people. It risks their career and threnthen their future. As money can buy people, so, under the influence of money, people exert pressure and practice immoral acts. The youngsters who are without Godfather, are ignored and their skills go wasted. They can be terminated from their jobs and they are less likely to get any sort of promotion. Infact they are never given a chance to polish their skills and prove themselves to the world. They never get any appreciation for their efforts rather they are criticized and exploited by people. They are demotivated. Ultimately, they lose the meaning of life and get sinked in the Bob of darkness. They find no charms in life. In short, we can say that nepotism kills humanity.
Effects of Nepotism:-
There are immense effects of Nepotism. I think above mentioned clues give you a bit idea about its harms.
Mental health:-
Its has adverse effect on the mental health of the sufferer. He loses the tastes of life. He becomes antisocial. The sense of being ignored and suppressed makes him feel unwanted. He suffers from mental trauma and even can't speak of it to anyone.
Depression :-
You know that depression is considered as second most life_staking disorder as heart attack is the first one. By facing Nepotism constantly, person becomes depressed. He starts losing his conscious control. He becomes habitual of taking antidepressants. Once you start taking these drugs, you can't stop as it can risk your life. Person implicits pain on himself.
Suicides:-
Atlast, he ends up the story by talking his own life. NEPOTISM increases the chances of suicides. Lots of people have lost their life due to this evil yet silent act.
How to avoid nepotism:-
  • As a person we goes through lots of phases in our life and my experience says that peace and happiness reside with in. So seek them
  • Let the betrayal strengthen you and breaking point be your building point.
  • Keep on struggling and even harder than before because I believe that more or less, you always get reward of your efforts. So keep patience.
  • Somehow, we all are part of this Nepotic society and can suffer as well. So people will let you down but keep motivating and uplifting yourself.
  •  Tell yourself that, you can do and you will do. No material power can stop you from achieving what you want.
  • Make your weakness your strongest point and accept the hardships of life as a challenge and learn to endure them. Then you will become a better person
  • Pay great devotion to your work, without expecting any regard. Always be fair in your dealings. Be satisfied with your work but if anything hurts your self_respect or make you lose your morale then abandon that and find another substitute.
Conclusion:-
In the end, I just wanna say that make this world safer and better place to live. Teach your children that all you have to do is to struggle if you wanna achieve something in life. They need to be fair in their dealings without any distinctions.
If you are facing Nepotism in your professional life then just remember that you want to be a survivor in this Chaotic world. If you don't have any renowned Godfather then be a Godfather for your kids by struggling hard but be fair with everyone and show people that humanity is something, which not everyone can afford and its something better than power and authority. I believe that rank is never given, it is established and achieved. I meant that set your goals, then work for it and then ultimately you will achieve it.
When you will become a successful person then always be down to earth and pay gratitude for whatever you have. If you want a change then start it from yourself.
Then one day justice will prevail.
