Plagiarism is very different and unique concept. Somehow, we all are known to this concept 'but this specific word''Plagiarism'' might be new for many of us.OK! Have you ever copied something from someone "? You know what plagiarism is very general in its approach and nowadays to plagiarise something is just a piece of cake.

Origin of plagiarism :-

Plagiarism is originated from latin word ''plagiarius'' which means ''kidnapper''. 

Meaning of plagiarism:-

Primarily, plagiarism means to ''copy'' or cheat something.

It refers to copying someone's content 'without giving any credit to their efforts"and promoting someone's work as your's. It is not limited to the text but it also includes stealing someone's idea.

Plagiarist:-

The person who copies someone's content or steal someone's Idea without paying any tribute to the author is said to be 'Plagiarist.

Terms of plagiarism:-

Two terms are associated with plagiarism.It can be intentional or unintentional.

Intentional plagiarism:when we copy' someone's idea, content, topic, and writing style without admiring his struggle and present his idea as our own like when we simply copyright something. This is known as intentional plagiarism. 

Unintentional plagiarism:when you copy someone's content, test or an idea" but forget to creditised him then this  is called unintentional plagiarism. 

  Examples of plagiarism :-

Don't you think? In some ways all of us are Plagiarists.'I'm too.Nowadays we are living in very fast and furious era.Yeah! You got that.Right? Everyone wants to fill their own nest by every possible mean.' Everyone Wants to be honoured and admired but nobody is willing to do anything on their own.

• Suppose 'My Professor has assigned me a topic for an essay, Oh Man! What to do now? Let's Google'and copyright everything. Who cares? He would surely not have a time to think much. What I did? Yeah! I presented the whole content as mine' now this is plagiarism.

• OK! You are worried and you are not getting any possible solution of your problem. You think of asking you friend.He gives you a wondrous idea which you implement without acknowledging his efforts.Infact you start bragging ' like wow' 'I did that " I am genious enough..you copied his idea and what you did is plagiarism. 

Types of plagiarism:-

There are various type of plagiarism. Plagiarism is most common in academics. 

Direct plagiarism:Basically, it is word to word' copying of someone's work 'with out giving any attributes and quotation marks('' '')

Self plagiarism:it takes place when any student proffer is old work or submerge some of the content of his previous work in his assignments or homework then this is self plagiarism. 

Mosaic plagiarism:this is a type of plagiarism when any student, take some of the phrases from source 'without using any quotations marks or presentating any commendation to the author. 

Accidental plagiarism:it occurs when a person cites wrong quote of the source" or he does not pay any attribute to the author.This issue is very serious.

How to avoid plagiarism:-

Plagiarism is very customary. It's not our fault " we all are dependent on Internet 'instead of using our own mind" we Google everything "apart from that, we seek" some other sources which could provide us with our relavent data.It is not a good practice though.

• To avoid plagiarism, we should try to rack our brain "to seek the required material. 
• If we are coping someone's else content or idea we should acknowledge their efforts and admire their work. 
• We should give basic reference'from where we gathered all the material 
• We should use quotations mark.
• Most importantly, we must learn to work on our own. 
• Paraphrase the text means write that copied text in your own way. 

Law against plagiarism:-

There is not any law against plagiarism as it is not a crime but no doubt it is very immoral.In academics, the authorative staff may punish the student for this iniquitous activity.On the professional level, strict actions may take place against the plagiarist.

How to check? 

It is ignored most of the time especially when it comes to academics. But there are many websites and applications to detect plagiarism on professional level. Conclusion:-

'' You know what, I am writing this blog, I have worked on it, I have spend time on it but if somebody steal my content without acknowledgement and regard' like he presents it as if its his Content.It will make me feel soo bad, means I'll get demotivated and in the end I'll abandon my passion.l'll be thinking like why? Means why am writing when I am not even getting any regard for that. There is no reason to continue. I exemplified myself, to make you understand that your one little act could destroy someone's career or passion. 

So learn to appreciate the efforts of the people and try to work on your own. Remember that, dependence leads to failure.
